Key responsibilities

Installation and repair:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, such as motors, generators, control panels, and other associated electrical and electronic systems.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve electrical issues and faults in a timely manner to prevent operational shutdowns.

Maintenance:

Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical components and systems.

Code compliance:

Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

Reading technical documents:

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to guide work.

Quality control:

Conduct inspections and quality control checks on electrical systems and equipment.

Record keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Required skills and qualifications

Technical knowledge:

Strong understanding of electrical systems, including control systems, motors, PLCs, and high-voltage equipment.

Problem-solving:

Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical issues.

Manual dexterity:

Proficient in using various tools and performing physically demanding tasks, such as climbing, crawling, and standing for extended periods.

Attention to detail:

Meticulous attention to detail for ensuring safety and quality of work.

Collaboration:

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education and licensing:

May require a valid license or certification, depending on local regulations.
