Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems, equipment, and components. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in motors, control panels, switchgear, transformers, and PLC systems. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems. Install and configure conduit systems (EMT, rigid, PVC), wiring, panels, and electrical devices. Test electrical systems for continuity, voltage, and functional integrity using appropriate testing instruments. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and safety standards. Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other electricians to meet project deadlines. Complete job documentation, service reports, and material usage records accurately. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow company and job-site safety protocols.

Qualifications

Minimum

2+ years of experience

as an Industrial or Construction Electrician. Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, controls, and equipment. Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents. Experience with conduit bending, panel installation, and equipment wiring. Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and automated systems (preferred but not required). Proficiency with multimeters, meggers, and other diagnostic tools. Strong understanding of NEC and local electrical codes. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in industrial environments (heights, confined spaces, etc.). State or local electrical license (preferred based on jurisdiction).

High School Diploma or GED required Completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program (preferred)
