We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician / Plant Operator to manage and operate our concrete hollow-block and stone-paver production plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the plant operations, controlling the automation system, ensuring product quality, and performing electrical/electronic maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Operate the plant to produce concrete hollow blocks and stone pavers to the plant's full operating capacity.
Operate and manage the PLC-based control system (Siemens), including programming, re-programming, testing, troubleshooting, and correcting control-related issues.
Monitor batching and mixing control systems to ensure correct mix proportions and consistent production output.
Perform quality control on finished products and implement continuous improvement measures to maintain and improve product quality.
Conduct planned maintenance and repairs of electrical/electronic equipment in collaboration with mechanical maintenance staff.
Monitor plant operations to ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, control system changes, and downtime events.
Assist with start-up and shutdown of the plant, equipment inspections, housekeeping of plant floor, and general plant maintenance as necessary.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred; strong candidates with relevant diplomas or technical qualifications may also be considered.
Proven experience (ideally in manufacturing, heavy industry, or process automation) operating industrial plants -- especially concrete/ready-mix / block plant or heavy manufacturing industry.
Hands-on experience with PLC control systems -- programming, troubleshooting, maintenance, and control loops.
Strong understanding of batching and mixing control, process automation, instrumentation, and electrical/electronic maintenance.
Good quality control mindset and experience with product quality monitoring and continuous improvement processes.
Ability to work collaboratively with mechanical teams, plan maintenance activities, and coordinate with production staff.
Strong problem-solving, communication skills, and a safety-first attitude.
Compensation & Benefits
Net Salary:
USD $1,300 (minimum) to USD $1,500 (maximum), depending on experience and qualifications.
Overtime:
Stipend for overtime work (paid as per company policy).
