Key Responsibilities
Design and develop product concepts from initial sketches through final production
Conduct user research, market analysis, and trend studies
Create sketches, renderings, 3D models, and prototypes
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and marketing teams
Select materials, colors, finishes, and manufacturing processes
Ensure designs meet usability, safety, cost, and sustainability requirements
Prepare detailed design specifications and documentation
Test and refine prototypes based on feedback and performance results
Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or a related field
Proven experience as an Industrial Designer or similar role
Proficiency in design software (SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite)
Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics
Ability to create high-quality sketches and 3D visualizations
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with prototyping tools (3D printing, CNC, model-making)
Knowledge of sustainable design practices
Experience working in consumer products, furniture, electronics, or automotive industries
