About the Role:

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented

Industrial Designer

to conceptualize, design, and develop a

Fully Automated Panipuri Vending Machine

. The designer must combine user-centric design thinking with practical, scalable mechanical engineering solutions to bring this unique concept to life for commercial deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and develop the outer body and internal component layout of the vending machine. Collaborate with mechanical and electronics engineers to ensure design feasibility. Conduct user research to understand consumer behavior and machine usability. Create detailed 3D CAD models and prototypes for testing and evaluation. Integrate features such as automated water dispensing, multiple flavor options, hygiene control, and payment interfaces (UPI, QR, etc.). Optimize for compactness, durability, aesthetic appeal, and maintenance efficiency. Select materials that are food-safe, cost-effective, and scalable for manufacturing.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Industrial Design / Product Design / Mechanical Engineering. 3+ years of experience in product or industrial design (preferably in vending or food-tech machines). Proficient in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or similar). Strong understanding of ergonomics, UI/UX in product design, and production methods. Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping techniques. Ability to work independently and manage project timelines.

Bonus Skills (Preferred):

Experience designing food-grade machines or vending kiosks. Familiarity with automation, sensors, or embedded electronics systems. Experience working with FSSAI standards or food safety guidelines.
