Doit Industries Limited is looking for a talented and detail-oriented
Industrial Designer
to design and develop innovative jewellery-making machinery and tools. The ideal candidate will blend creativity with engineering knowledge to create functional, ergonomic, and aesthetically appealing products for precision manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop functional, ergonomic, and visually appealing jewellery-making machines and tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, chemists, and production staff to ensure design feasibility and performance.
Translate concepts into detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes.
Work on UI/UX aspects of machine control panels and operator interfaces.
Research suitable materials, finishes, and form factors for precision manufacturing and chemical handling.
Apply principles of sustainability, safety, and efficiency across all design solutions.
Participate in product testing, validation, and iterative improvement cycles.
Stay updated with trends in industrial design, manufacturing technology, and jewellery industry standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
4-10 years of experience in industrial design, preferably in machinery, tools, or process equipment.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360) and rendering tools (e.g., KeyShot, Blender).
Experience with prototyping, material selection, and design for manufacturing (DFM).
Basic understanding of chemical safety and material compatibility is a plus.
