Job Summary
As an Industrial Carpenter at Maadhu Creatives, you will play a key role in building, assembling, and maintaining various custom-made wooden structures and models. This position demands a keen eye for detail, expert-level woodworking skills, and the ability to collaborate efficiently within a creative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches accurately.
Select and prepare appropriate materials such as wood, plastic, or engineered materials.
Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, smooth, and assemble model components.
Build and install wooden frameworks, doors, cabinets, and other fixtures.
Inspect final models and structures for quality, accuracy, and alignment with design specifications.
Maintain all carpentry tools and equipment in good working condition.
Identify and carry out necessary repairs on wooden parts or installations.
Comply with workplace safety standards and company protocols at all times.
Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely project completion.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in industrial carpentry or a related field.
Strong understanding of woodworking materials, tools, and techniques.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
Physical stamina and capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when needed.
Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Collaborative attitude with good communication skills.
