Bulk Meal Preparation:
Cook daily meals (breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner) for 500 employees per shift.
Shift Coordination:
Ensure food is ready at least 15 minutes before the siren or shift break starts.
Menu Execution:
Prepare a variety of dishes (often traditional or local staples) according to the weekly "Mess Menu."
Quality Control:
Maintain consistent taste, spice levels, and texture, ensuring the food is palatable for workers performing manual labor.
Supervision:
Manage a team of helpers for vegetable cutting, cleaning, and meal service.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure the gas manifold, industrial burners, and electrical equipment are handled safely to prevent factory accidents.
Requirement Description Experience
Minimum 3+ years in a mess, hostel, or industrial catering setup.
Speed
Must be able to manage "rush hour" service without compromising quality.
Health & Safety
Knowledge of food storage temperatures and FIFO (First In, First Out) methods.
Physical Fitness
Able to work in a hot kitchen environment and handle heavy industrial vessels.
Language
Basic communication to manage helpers.
