Job Title: Industrial Automation Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Industrial Automation Trainer to join SMEClabs, the training and R&D division of SMEC. The trainer will be responsible for delivering hands-on training, mentoring students, and developing course content in the field of industrial automation. This role is ideal for professionals who are enthusiastic about sharing their technical knowledge and shaping future engineers.

After 6 to 8 months of successful performance, the candidate will have the opportunity to transition to SMEC's Marine or Industrial Division, depending on skill level, interest, and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct theory and practical sessions on PLC, SCADA, DCS, VFD, HMI, and Industrial Instrumentation.

Guide trainees through real-time industrial projects and troubleshooting exercises.

Prepare and maintain training materials, manuals, and lab setups.

Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.

Stay updated with the latest automation technologies and industrial trends.

Collaborate with the R&D and placement teams to enhance training outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field.

Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, Omron, Delta, etc.).

Experience with SCADA/DCS systems and industrial communication protocols preferred.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Passion for mentoring and continuous learning.

Career Growth Opportunity:

After 6 to 8 months of training and performance evaluation, eligible trainers will have the opportunity to move into SMEC's Marine or Industrial Division, where they can work on live projects, site installations, and advanced automation systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
