This is a full-time on-site role for a talented and experienced Industrial Automation lead Engineer . The Engineer will be responsible for development and commissioning of automation solutions. Day-to-day tasks include development, testing and validation, technical documentation, site commissioning, technical support and mentoring of junior team members. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirement:
Educational Qualification: B. Tech in electrical, electronics, instrumentation and mechatronics engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 5 Years of hands-on experience in executing automation projects
Strong expertise in IEC 61131-3 programming languages(LD, structured text, FBD) and versatile in developing applications using various automation frameworks (Siemens, Schneider Electric, AB, ABB, Phoenix Contact, Aveva, etc)
Proficient in industrial communication protocols including Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethernet IP, Profinet, OPC, CAN etc.
Thorough understanding and experience with control system architecture, P&ID diagrams, FDS, control drawings, single-line diagrams, and panel drawings.
Experience in testing procedures, FAT/SAT, and commissioning of automation projects
Prepared project documents such as IO list, test reports, manuals and other technical documents.
Willingness to travel to customer sites for project execution and commissioning.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and commissioning of automation projects.
Prepare, review and maintain technical documents for the project such as test reports, manuals etc.
Conduct testing and validation of automation systems.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
Provide sales team and clients with pre-sales, execution and after-sales technical support.
Training and support junior engineers to ensure adherence to project execution, quality standards and best practices.
Ensure compliance with safety practices and quality management requirements
Travel to project sites for project survey and execution
