Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and set up induction hardening machines as per job requirements. Read and interpret engineering drawings, hardness specifications, and process sheets. Monitor machine operations and adjust parameters (frequency, power, cycle time, cooling) to achieve desired hardness. Conduct hardness testing (Rockwell/Brinell/Micro Vickers) and maintain quality standards. Perform routine checks, preventive maintenance, and report machine issues to maintenance. Maintain records of production, quality reports, and daily log sheets. Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and maintain 5S in the workplace.

Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of induction hardening process and heat treatment. Ability to operate hardness testing equipment. Understanding of metallurgical properties and component behavior. Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail, quality focus, and safety awareness.

Qualification & Experience:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Tool & Die or equivalent. 0-2 years of experience in induction hardening operations (preferably in automotive/engineering industry).

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
