We are seeking a highly skilled

Indirect Taxes professional

with 6-12 years of experience to join our finance team in Churchgate, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in

GST, Service Tax, VAT, and other indirect tax compliance

and advisory, along with the ability to manage audits, assessments, and regulatory interactions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage

end-to-end Indirect Tax compliance

, including GST, Service Tax, VAT, and other applicable indirect taxes. Preparation and filing of

monthly/quarterly GST returns

and reconciliation of input tax credit. Handling

tax audits, assessments, and queries

from tax authorities. Advising on

tax optimization, structuring, and compliance risk management

. Review and ensure accuracy of

tax provisions, returns, and reports

in line with statutory requirements. Liaise with internal teams, external auditors, and consultants on

tax matters and compliance

. Keep abreast of

changes in indirect tax laws, regulations, and notifications

. Support

business transactions, contracts, and projects

with indirect tax implications.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

GST, VAT, Service Tax, Customs Duty, and other indirect taxes

. Experience in

tax planning, compliance, and advisory

. Exposure to

tax audits and assessments

. Good understanding of

ERP systems

and ability to work with accounting software. Strong

analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

.

Education & Certification:

CA Final from

Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

.

Experience:

6 - 12 years in

Indirect Taxation

in corporates, consulting, or professional services.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
