Job Responsibilities:
Assist in
preparing
and
cooking tandoor items
such as
breads, kebabs,
and
grills as per restaurant standards.
Operate the tandoor safely and efficiently under the guidance of senior chefs.
Support daily prep work including marination, skewering, and dough preparation.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organisation of the tandoor section.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs at all times.
Coordinate with the kitchen team for smooth and timely service.
Minimise food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a tandoor section
(experience level as per Commi grade).
Basic knowledge of tandoor operations, marination, and grilling techniques.
Willingness to learn and take instructions from senior chefs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Positive attitude, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
Ready to work in shifts and during busy hours.
