Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Indian Sweets Cook (Mithaiwala) to prepare and produce a wide variety of traditional Indian sweets with consistent taste, quality, and hygiene standards. The candidate should be skilled in authentic sweet preparation techniques and capable of handling bulk and daily production.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare traditional Indian sweets such as laddu, barfi, halwa, peda, rasgulla, gulab jamun, jalebi, payasam, and regional specialties Measure, mix, and cook ingredients according to standard recipes Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards Monitor ingredient quality and report shortages to the kitchen manager Handle bulk production for festivals, events, and daily sales Proper storage of sweets to maintain freshness and shelf life Follow safety, hygiene, and FSSAI guidelines Assist in developing new sweets or seasonal items when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as an Indian Sweets Cook / Mithai Cook Strong knowledge of traditional Indian sweets and cooking techniques Ability to work with milk-based products, sugar syrups, and ghee Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen discipline Ability to work long hours during peak seasons and festivals Team player with attention to detail

Education & Experience

Minimum: 2-5 years of experience in sweet preparation Formal culinary training is an added advantage
