Conduct regular classes (individual and group) in Hindustani classical vocal music.
Teach students about swaras, ragas, taals, compositions (bandishes), and improvisation techniques.
Train students in both practical and theoretical aspects of Hindustani classical music.
Prepare students for stage performances, exams, and competitions.
Develop lesson plans tailored to the needs and levels of students (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
Encourage discipline, riyaaz (practice), and respect for the art form.
Collaborate with other faculty for concerts, workshops, and cultural programs.
Provide feedback and progress reports to students and parents.
Qualifications & Skills:
Formal training in Hindustani classical music (Visharad/ Sangeet Prabhakar/ equivalent diploma or degree).
Strong command over ragas, taals, and vocal techniques.
Prior teaching experience (preferred but not mandatory for highly skilled performers).
Ability to work with children and adults with patience and motivation.
Good communication skills in Hindi and/or English.
Passion for preserving and promoting Indian classical traditions.
