Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook Indian curries, gravies, and traditional dishes with consistent taste and quality
Assist Senior Chefs in daily kitchen work and food preparation
Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines
Control portion size and reduce food wastage
Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours
Guide and assist junior staff when required
Check stock levels and inform seniors about shortages
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
Follow hotel policies and kitchen SOPs
Skills & Requirements
Experience working in the Indian curry section of a hotel or good restaurant
Good knowledge of Indian spices, gravies, and regional dishes
Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
Positive attitude, punctual, and disciplined
Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
