We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook specialized in
Indian cuisine
, with strong working knowledge of
Chinese dishes
and
basic Continental breakfast menus
. The ideal candidate should bring creativity, consistency, and efficiency to our hotel kitchen while maintaining high standards of hygiene and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare authentic Indian meals with emphasis on North Indian specialties.
Cook popular Chinese recipes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Develop and serve Continental breakfast items such as eggs, pancakes, sandwiches, cereals, salads, and beverages.
Assist in planning daily menus and special dishes for guests.
Maintain kitchen hygiene and follow food safety standards (FSSAI compliance).
Manage ingredients, minimize waste, and support cost-effective kitchen operations.
Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure timely meal service.
Train junior kitchen staff in basic food preparation and presentation.
Requirements
3-5 years of professional cooking experience in hotels, resorts, or restaurants.
Expertise in Indian cuisine with hands-on knowledge of Chinese and Continental breakfast.
Strong understanding of portion control, food presentation, and taste balance.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and safety protocols.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak tourist seasons.
Team-oriented, reliable, and passionate about culinary excellence.
