Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

North Indian and chinese Cook

for our restaurant in Bangalore. The candidate should have good knowledge of North Indian cuisine, gravies and be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities and Duties



Preparing dishes as per the menu following the guidance of Chef as per the set recipe. This should be done with a perfect balance of taste, quality, look (incl. garnishing), portion size and time. Checking and ensuring attendance of all Asst. Cooks, Kitchen Assistant and Helpers. Ensuring all the Asst. Cooks, Kitchen Assistant and Helpers are doing jobs allocated to them strictly following the set processes and maintaining timeline of shift. Checking all the items in fridge and ensure no spoiled or about to spoil item is used in production Ensuring preparations for production (settings) are ready in all respect before 12 Noon for Lunch shift and before 06:30 PM for dinner shift. Training/handholding all Asst. Cooks, Kitchen Assistants and Helpers to ensure preparation production quality, look, taste, fragrance and portion size of food as per the set standard. This includes, identifying the capabilities/potentials of people and develop them accordingly for higher responsibilities. Also training Asst. Cooks, Kitchen Assistants and Helpers on multiple tasks to create back up in each position to help smooth operations, especially during crisis/shortage of manpower situations. Cost control ensuring quality and taste of the set standard. Strictly Minimizing all types of wastage. Ensuring and preparing dishes with superior standard of taste along with consistency and uniformity as per the guidance of Chef. Ensuring portion size of each and every items you prepare as per the set standard. Update if there is requirement of kitchen equipment. Ensure proper handling of Chulha/Gas Line/ Kitchen/Electrical equipment's inside the kitchen for smooth functioning and update immediately on requirement of any repair or preventive maintenance. Supervising deep cleaning of kitchen including kitchen equipment's once in a week and/or as and when required.

Requirements & Skills Set



Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment. Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes Familiarity with sanitation regulations. Excellent time management abilities. Leadership skills. Great leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to run stocktaking and place orders for resupply. Exemplary work ethic in a high-pressure environment. Passion and pride for delighting people with food.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
