Key Responsibilities:Gravy Section:
Prepare a variety of North Indian curries like Butter Chicken, Paneer Butter Masala, Kadhai dishes, Dal Makhani, etc.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and portioning.
Prepare base gravies and sauces in bulk when needed.
Tandoor Section:
Operate the tandoor oven and prepare items like Tandoori Roti, Butter Naan, Garlic Naan, Tandoori Chicken, Seekh Kebab, etc.
Marinate meats and paneer items according to standard recipes.
Maintain proper temperature and timings for tandoor items.
Kitchen Operations:
Ensure all dishes are prepared on time and plated neatly.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen.
Store ingredients properly and check stock levels daily.
Cooperate with kitchen helpers and follow instructions from the head chef or owner.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Indian curry and tandoor cooking.
Strong knowledge of Indian spices and tandoor handling.
Must maintain hygiene and follow food safety standards.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a professional attitude.
