Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of Indian dishes as per the menu and chef's instructions.
Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
Ensure proper cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation of the kitchen and work area.
Assist in mise-en-place for curries, breads, gravies, tandoor prep, and other Indian specialties.
Follow food safety standards and maintain kitchen SOPs.
Support senior chefs in managing stock, storing ingredients, and minimizing wastage.
Cooperate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during buffet and a la carte service.
Handle basic cutting, chopping, grinding, and marination tasks.
Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts preferred.
1-3 years of experience working in an Indian kitchen, preferably in hotels or resorts.
Understanding of Indian spices, flavours, and preparation methods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
Good teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn.
Salary:
As per experience and interview performance.
