Job Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and cooking
vegetarian and non-vegetarian
Indian curries as per standard recipes.
Ensure proper
cutting, marination, and cooking
of ingredients to maintain taste and quality.
Follow hygiene and food safety standards in kitchen operations.
Support the
Chef de Partie (CDP) and Sous Chef
in daily kitchen activities.
Maintain stock levels and assist in inventory management.
Handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow portion control and waste management practices.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the curry section.
Skills & Requirements:
Knowledge of traditional and modern
Indian curries
(veg & non-veg).
Ability to work in a
fast-paced
kitchen environment.
Understanding of
spices, gravies, and Indian cooking techniques
.
Strong
teamwork and communication skills
.
Basic knowledge of food
hygiene and safety standards
.
