Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all Indian dishes under the guidance of the Chef de Partie and Head Chef.
Ensure consistent and high-quality food output as per the restaurant's standards.
Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety protocols in the kitchen at all times.
Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment.
Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist in inventory management.
Support in mise en place preparation before each service.
Handle equipment, tools, and kitchen appliances responsibly.
Take feedback positively and actively contribute to continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth operation and timely service.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Indian cuisine in a high-volume or fine-dining kitchen.
Strong understanding of regional Indian cooking techniques, spices, and presentation.
Formal culinary education preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.
Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per business needs.
