Assist in preparing and cooking Indian dishes as per menu and standards, maintaining kitchen hygiene and supporting CDP/DCDP in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients, mise-en-place, gravies, curries, tandoor prep, etc.
Cook Indian dishes under guidance of Chef
Maintain quality, taste, and presentation standards
Follow kitchen hygiene, safety, and food handling norms
Assist in inventory, storage, and portion control
Support in daily operations during rush hours
Maintain cleanliness of workstations
Coordinate with team for smooth service
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of North Indian / South Indian dishes
Basic tandoor & curry preparation skills
Good cooking techniques & speed
Hygiene & food safety knowledge
Teamwork & discipline
Qualifications:
Hotel Management Diploma / Culinary certification
Experience in Indian kitchen mandatory
