Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a wide variety of
Indian
(North/South/Regional) and
Chinese/Indo-Chinese
dishes.
Handle daily food preparation including chopping, marinating, and mise-en-place.
Cook Indian curries, gravies, tandoori items, breads, rice, snacks, and desserts.
Cook Chinese dishes using wok techniques such as stir-frying, sauteing, steaming, and deep-frying.
Prepare sauces, gravies, noodles, fried rice, and appetizers with consistent taste and quality.
Maintain portion control, taste consistency, and presentation standards.
Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines and maintain high levels of kitchen cleanliness.
Monitor inventory of vegetables, meats, spices, sauces, and other ingredients.
Minimize food wastage and follow proper cost-control practices.
