Job Description

Food Preparation and Cooking:

Preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes:

This includes understanding and executing various regional and traditional recipes, using techniques specific to Indian cuisine, and ensuring dishes meet quality standards.

Menu planning:

Developing menus that incorporate seasonal ingredients, cater to different dietary needs, and are appealing to customers.

Food presentation:

Creating visually appealing presentations that enhance the dining experience.

Quality control:

Ensuring all dishes meet quality standards, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations, and consistently delivering a high level of taste and presentation.
Kitchen Management and Operations:

Supervising and training kitchen staff:

This may include training junior chefs, kitchen assistants, and ensuring efficient workflow within the kitchen.

Inventory management:

Monitoring food stock, placing orders, and ensuring adequate supplies are available.

Hygiene and safety:

Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations, and ensuring staff follow hygiene protocols.

Cost control:

Monitoring food costs and taking corrective actions to reduce expenses.

Problem-solving:

Addressing issues related to food preparation, equipment, or staff performance.
