Kiara's Kitchen is known for authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and exceptional dining experiences. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Indian Chef who can prepare traditional and modern Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a wide variety of Indian dishes (North Indian / South Indian / Regional specialties as applicable)
Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation
Plan daily menus and assist in developing new dishes and specials
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards
Monitor food quality and freshness of ingredients
Manage kitchen inventory and minimize food wastage
Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager and service team for smooth operations
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Train and guide kitchen assistants and helpers when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and regional cuisines
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Good time-management and multitasking skills
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices
Passion for cooking and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management
Experience in restaurant, hotel, or cloud kitchen setup
Ability to create fusion or modern Indian dishes is an added advantage
