Preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes, such as curries, tandoori dishes, biryanis, and regional specialties
Developing new recipes while maintaining the quality and authenticity of traditional Indian cuisine
Working with other kitchen staff to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently
Ensuring that all dishes are cooked well and presented attractively
Overseeing food preparation and checking that all kitchen staff are performing their duties
Monitoring equipment quality and ordering new equipment as needed
Helping the restaurant determine how much food and supplies need to be ordered
Training new kitchen staff
Studying recipes, setting up menus, and preparing high-quality dishes
Delegating tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner
Being familiar with sanitation regulations
