Job Summary



We are seeking a highly skilled and disciplined

North Indian Chef

for a 5-star luxury property who can deliver

authentic, flavour-forward North Indian cuisine

with refined presentation and consistency. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in

traditional gravies, breads, tandoor operations, and regional North Indian specialties

, while meeting the expectations of premium hospitality guests.

This role requires mastery of classical techniques, strong kitchen leadership, and the ability to scale quality without diluting authenticity.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare and execute

authentic North Indian cuisine

including gravies, curries, dals, kebabs, and regional specialties Handle

tandoor operations

: rotis, naan, kulcha, laccha paratha, tandoori starters Maintain

5-star standards

in taste, hygiene, plating, and consistency Develop and refine

North Indian menus

balancing tradition with modern presentation Ensure strict compliance with

food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards

Manage kitchen workflow during peak hours, banquets, and fine-dining service Train, supervise, and mentor junior chefs and commis Control food cost, wastage, and inventory without compromising quality Coordinate closely with service teams to ensure smooth and timely service Uphold discipline, cleanliness, and operational excellence in the kitchen

Required Skills & Expertise



Strong command over

North Indian gravies, masala blending, and slow-cooking techniques

Expertise in

tandoor cooking

(mandatory) In-depth knowledge of

spices, marinades, smoking techniques (dhungar), and tempering

Ability to balance

authentic flavours with luxury dining expectations

High level of consistency, speed, and attention to detail Calm, composed performance under pressure

Qualifications



Diploma / Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management (preferred) Minimum

4-8 years of experience

in reputed hotels, fine-dining restaurants, or luxury resorts Prior experience in a

5-star or premium hospitality environment

is strongly preferred
