Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a range of
North Indian, South Indian, or regional dishes
(as per requirement).
Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and portion standards.
Plan and prep ingredients for daily operations.
Manage masala preparation, gravy bases, tandoor items (if applicable), and traditional recipes.
Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
Monitor stock, minimize wastage, and coordinate with purchasing staff.
Maintain proper storage of ingredients and ensure freshness.
Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Follow recipes or create new dishes if required.
Maintain professionalism and punctuality.
Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in
Indian cooking
in a restaurant, hotel, or cloud kitchen.
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, gravies, masalas, and cooking techniques.
Ability to prepare veg and non-veg dishes (as per requirement).
Experience with
tawa, curry section, tandoor,
or
South Indian breakfast
(customize as needed).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety.
Teamwork, time management, and multitasking skills.
