The Indian CDP will lead the Indian cuisine section in the resort kitchen. This includes preparing traditional Indian dishes, managing a small team of commis chefs, and ensuring consistent taste and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently cook North and South Indian dishes with authentic taste.
Supervise and train junior staff in the Indian kitchen section.
Ensure correct food preparation techniques and portion control.
Maintain cleanliness, proper food storage, and station organization.
Contribute to new Indian menu creation and festival menus.
Profile Requirements:
Culinary diploma with specialization in Indian cooking preferred.
4-6 years of experience in Indian kitchens; resort experience desirable.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Sound knowledge of spices, gravies, tandoor operations, and plating.
