Job Summary:
The Indian Chef de Partie is responsible for overseeing the Indian section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality preparation and presentation of authentic Indian dishes. The role requires strong culinary expertise, leadership, and adherence to hotel standards of hygiene, taste, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the Indian section (Curry, Tandoor, and Gravy preparations).
Prepare, cook, and present Indian dishes as per standard recipes and hotel guidelines.
Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, flavor, and presentation.
Plan and execute daily mise en place for smooth kitchen operations.
Monitor portion control and reduce wastage to manage food cost effectively.
Train, guide, and supervise Commis staff in daily operations and grooming standards.
Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness in the section as per HACCP standards.
Ensure stock rotation (FIFO method) and proper storage of raw and cooked food.
Work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef for menu planning, specials, and promotions.
Ensure proper maintenance and handling of kitchen equipment and utensils.
Communicate effectively with service and stewarding departments for coordination during service.

Requirements:
Education:Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts.
Experience:4-6 years of experience in Indian kitchen operations with at least 1-2 years as CDP in a reputed hotel or restaurant.
Knowledge:Strong knowledge of North Indian cuisine, curries, tandoor operations, and regional specialties.
Skills:*
Excellent cooking and presentation skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Good communication and time management skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and speed.
