Job Overview:

The accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and providing critical financial insights to support decision-making. The candidate should be well-versed in Tally ERP software and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintain and update the company's financial records in Tally ERP. Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns. Ensure compliance with GST laws and regulations. Prepare and file TDS returns within prescribed timelines. Prepare accurate and timely balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports. Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of financial data. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including income tax, GST, and other regulatory filings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in an Indian context. Proficiency in Tally ERP software. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards.
