The Role:
Trading, pricing and vessel freight fixing for crude vegetable oils into India Sub-Continent, being India the main player of this program. The Global Trading Desk for Vegetable Oils in Rolle Switzerland trades rape oil, canola oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil, palm oil and corn oil. Each oil has its own trading peculiarities and it\'s important to develop a deep understanding of all vegetable oils.

This position will manage ALL the trading functions of vegetable oils into India Sub-Continent for ADM. This will include as well vessel logistics management, customer sales interaction and supply/demand analysis.

Main Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Trading Manager, in Rolle, Switzerland; the incumbent will be responsible for:

• Trading of all ADM vegetable oils in bulk for ADM into these markets.
• Fully Responsible for the India Sub-Continent (India and surrounding countries) freight and trading P&L.
• Maintain and improve our customer relationships in India and the region.
• Explore potential partner opportunities/ strategic opportunities in this market.
• Responsible for maintaining Veg Oils S&Ds for India and surrounding countries.
• Negotiating and obtaining the best value for ADM`s vegetable oils into these markets.
• Utilizing knowledge of Vegetable Oil flows and Global S&D`s in order to efficiently move ADM into this market.
• Utilizing experience in commodity markets, positioning, hedging/selling recommendations to customers.
• Managing credit, legal issues and processing aspects of ADM\'s vegetable oil business.

The candidate
The successful candidate will possess the following:

• University degree, preferably with economic background.
• 6+ years commercial experience, preferably including trading and logistics in agricultural commodities.
• Excellent understanding of pricing mechanisms as well as the relationship between worldwide supply and demand, and the pricing of agricultural commodities, specifically vegetable oils.
• In depth knowledge of the freight spreads necessary to move vegetable oil products from origin to destination markets.
• Previous experience of vegetable oil trading would be beneficial.
• Analytical, creative, objective team player.
• Strong ability to collaborate within a multi-cultural and cross-functional setting.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel.
• Excellent contract negotiation skills.
• Fluent in Hindi is a requirement for this position.
