About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive with experience in selling services or solutions within the construction or real estate industry in India. The role focuses on promoting and closing BIM and CAD outsourcing projects with real estate developers, architects, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) contractors. The candidate must have strong client relationship skills and the ability to drive business growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities for BIM/CAD outsourcing projects in the Indian construction sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate developers, architects, general contractors, and MEP subcontractors.
Understand project needs (drawings, modeling, detailing, coordination) and coordinate internally to prepare suitable proposals.
Negotiate and close high-value service agreements while ensuring client satisfaction.
Work with internal technical teams to align client requirements with deliverables.
Stay updated on construction industry trends, regulations, and digital adoption (BIM, green building codes, smart cities initiatives, etc.).
Generate leads via industry events, networking, and digital channels.
Conduct presentations and client meetings to communicate service value.
Maintain a structured sales pipeline and provide performance reports to management.
Collaborate with marketing and leadership to develop industry-specific sales campaigns.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred, not mandatory).
2-5 years of proven sales experience in the Indian construction industry (e.g., real estate, building materials, contracting, or allied services).
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to handle corporate and HNI clients, and close high-value transactions.
Good understanding of how construction projects are executed and the role of design/documentation services (awareness of BIM/CAD workflows preferred, technical expertise not required).
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Willingness to travel as per business needs.
Established network with developers, brokers, contractors, and consultants in the construction ecosystem.
