Job Purpose
Lead Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel
Key Responsibilities
Independently handle litigation including form strategy, ensuring execution and guarding stakeholder in best possible manner.
Independently drafting and critically vet contracts, tenders, RFQ, legal pleadings, communication, notices, engagement letters, opinion etc and advice the business leader / function heads accordingly including share critics.
Coordinating, briefing / attended meeting with business, lawyers, senior advocate, government agency, law enforcement etc.
Represent company along with business to courts, forum, law enforcement office along with company official.
Preparing, ensuring and maintaining Litigation MIS (contingent), payment / other MIS for timely submission to stakeholders.
Implement process and system at business and driving transformation journey digital and awareness session in business.
Ensuring maintenance physical and digital record of the cases including in digital tool.
Prefer: Having experience of Mergers & Acquisition, FIDIC Contract, Data Privacy, Anti-Bribery and Competition Law.
Experience Required
12 years (minimum) to 15 years (maximum) with blended working experience with law firm / lawyer and corporate legal department in Indian legal entity preferrably in
Automobile (Auto / Farm / Construction), Engineering, Infrastructure, FMCG etc.
Experience: * Litigation : Substantive including penal law criminal & civil procedure law

• Contract : Law of Contracts
• Employment, Property, Media & Advertisement.
• Recovery related law NIA, IBC and SARFAESI.
• Data Privacy, Anti-Bribery and Competition Law.

Preferred Qualifications
Law Graduate (LL.B / LL.M).
