Introduction: The primary role and focus of Infrastructure Delivery aspects specific to BX India focusing on business-critical projects and programmes, ensuring that fit-for-purpose technical infrastructure solutions are deployed, in support of business demand and requirements. The role holder will be working alongside a number of business critical technology change programmes to ensure that the optimum infrastructure solution is chosen, and to ensure that the infrastructure solution is delivered on-time and to the required level of quality. To manage Execution Risk effectively, deliver on our Group strategy and satisfy all our stakeholders, we must deliver our initiatives consistently and transparently. Delivery/Programme Managers oversee delivery of multiple project initiatives, ensuring they achieve their outcomes to plan. Delivery Management: The identification, planning and coordination of a set of projects or work-streams within a programme of business change, to manage their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies. Maintains a strategic view over the set of projects, providing the framework for implementing business initiatives, or large-scale change, by achieving a vision of the outcome of the project or programme. The vision, and the means of achieving it, may change as the initiatives progresses. Aligns the objectives for defined and agreed activities with business change objectives and authorises the selection and planning of all related projects and activities. Plans, directs and co-ordinates activities to manage and implement complex projects from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage. Plans, schedules, monitors and reports on activities related to the programme or project. Leads the programme or project teams in determining business requirements and translating requirements into operational plans. Determines, monitors and reviews all programme or project economics, including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources and risk, ensuring that there are appropriate and effective governance arrangements, supported by comprehensive reporting. Evaluates changes to programme and project management practices and initiates improvement to organisation practices. Review quality of direct report\'s project delivery at all stages through the project lifecycle, ensuring best practice has been adhered to What will you be doing Manage multiple programme/project initiatives to deliver outcomes, planning and managing resources and interdependencies. Creating and managing the business case for the programme, from inception through delivery to closure, partnering the Accountable Executive and ensuring that any changes to the detailed business case (DBC) for an initiative are identified, assessed, and then approved or rejected by appropriate governance Being responsible for governance and oversight - provide the framework for implementation, working with the Accountable Executive to establish a governance forum that is fit for purpose (having identified the key stakeholders) and facilitate the continuous review and approval of key delivery documents Determining, monitoring and managing to workforce and financial requirements, liaising with product and service delivery on resource requirements supplier and vendor management monitoring any supply related risks and setting up the initiative team with clear roles and responsibilities ensuring ongoing costs and capitalisation meet MTP and budget requirements Ensuring that planned outputs deliver the agreed outcomes and that the outcomes remain relevant course correcting where required to ensure the programme delivers on its aims working with delivery partners (e.g. TC leads) to determine and plan work packages Providing and regularly reviewing an honest, transparent assessment of the programme status and RAID (risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies) of the initiative, escalating via appropriate governance completing (and maintaining) a Change Risk Impact Assessment (CRIA) where required Delivery/Programme Managers turn a vision into tangible outcomes by managing a group of initiatives, typically underpinned by a common theme or related strategic outcomes. They must be strong leaders, problem solvers and relationship builders. Acting in partnership with the Accountable Executive, CIO, using their experience and insight to help engage senior leaders, maintain a focus on delivering outcomes, remove blockers and resolve risks and issues and deploy appropriate governance and oversight of delivery (including the Programme Forum) Taking responsibility for successful delivery in line with the relevant Policies and Standards by keeping a focus on outcomes defining, monitoring and regularly reviewing the overall plan ensuring benefits and outcomes are captured and validated and managing interdependencies from projects that form part of the programme of change - from inception, through delivery to closure Creating an environment of effective delivery by empowering the programme team, leveraging their knowledge and expertise, learning lessons from past delivery, driving accountability and transparency and encouraging debate to find the right answer - not the easy one. Ensure all team members understand their roles and celebrate success. What we\'re looking for: Bachelor\'s degree (BSc) or equivalent VP level delivery experience in a comparable organisation Responsibility for delivering a service in Technology context Ability to work under pressure and solve difficult engineering/operationsal problems by navigating with concerned technology towers for providing quality solutions to customer. Project Management accreditation preferable, understanding of disciplines & methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) Skills that will help you in the role Good understanding of infrastructure technologies mainly in end users and networks domain Delivery focused, mindset driven and extensive experience in managing Programmes/Strategic initiatives with medium to high complexity, business critical and large cross-functional team spanning multiple regions and functions Highly articulate and persuasive communicator with excellent written and verbal communication Sound commercial judgment and good understanding of Financial Services and Banking Industry Proactively identifies risks, issues and dependencies and can perform analysis on value at risk and mitigation options across a complex programme, can flag strategic risks for business executives and lead its mitigation across stakeholders.
