Job Purpose
Reporting to Supervisor, the role shall be primarily responsible to input the data into System with 100% accuracy as well as engage with local agents for timely submissions of cargo documents.
Identify call with missing events updated in system and action accordingly.
Identify incorrect event updates (illogical sequence of dates, missing dates, incorrect sequential nature of events) in system and action accordingly.
Chase LPAs for correct and missing events.
Maintain communication links and coordination with LPAs for any additional information and data.
Ensure the cargo documents are collected and uploaded in system (especially the SOF).
Supporting the AMPS & Ops Support manager in delivery of the Medium to long term goals.
Normal working hours but if business demands then Shift working
The post holder will carry out any other duties as are within the scope and purpose of the job as requested by the Line Manager and ensure full utilization of all ISS systems according to Standard Operating Procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Data Audit, Optic Updates as per KPIs
Ensure correct information in operational files is checked and updated.
Team member to promptly address within designated KPIs the Service Requests from stakeholders (internal / external)
Audit event data and ensure sanitary checks are in place to identify errors and mismatch in data.
Resolve any issues arising from day to day operations, discuss your proposed solutions with Supervisor/Line Manager as required.
Ensure all queries and requests handled that may arise from the Clients, Masters, Agents, and internal stakeholders.
To promptly address within designated KPIs the Service Requests from stakeholders (internal / external)
Deliver and Demonstrate (via reports) that internal KPIs of Validations and event audits are successfully carried out for Optic calls.
Taking the decision to conduct a response to above yourself when the issue might be sensitive and require extra care.
Open to work on adhoc requests as per business requirements.
Share ideas and areas of concerns and findings of the tasks handled in team meetings for future actions plans.
Ensure necessary steps are taken to chase and rectify missing/incorrect events in system.
Smooth communication with local agent and Hub Operations for collections of cargo documents.
Flexible to work in shifts and schedules in order to manage daily/weekly volumes.
Bring innovative ideas in developing the processes.
Prepare reports as required by Line Manager

Accountable for implementation and monitoring of actions to mitigate risk and enhance controls within area of responsibility to ensure the HSSE of both the job holder and other persons who may be affected by acts carried out or failed to be carried out by the job holder.
Ensure full compliance with and implementation of, the ISS HSSE Management System.
Ensure that appropriate resources are allocated to control HSSE risk.
Accountable for ensuring that clear, appropriate and timely communication channels are put in place to report and manage HSSE risk.
Knowledge
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic understanding of Shipping industry and shipping terms (would be added advantage)
Knowledge on Shipping operations, B/L and Manifest.
