About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Independent Testing Manager... Independent Testing Manager (Analytics and Data Testing) The Independent Testing and Validation Team is seeking a Independent Testing Manager to support the IT&V Technology, COO, Customer Remediation, Emerging Risk, and Data (TCRED) testing and validation team. Specifically, this individual will be supporting the Customer Remediation and Emerging Risk (CRER) Analytics, Reporting, and Data Testing Team (ARDT). In this position, the individual will serve as the manager responsible for coordinating analytical support across the CRER Team. This position will report to the ARDT Senior Manager within the TCRED team. Responsibilities of the Manager role include, but are not limited to: Manage analytic resources responsible for supporting the CRER team while ensuring high quality outcomes are achieved and effectively communicated to management Manage process to provide review and credible challenge to work products completed by analytic resources on the team Partner with analytic and business resources to navigate large, complex technology environments Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders in the applicable line of business and IT&V functions. Ensuring the timely completion of validation activities, including the triage of potential validation concerns/findings/issues Provide credible challenge to lines of business, across risk programs and the enterprise Establish benchmarks for timely tracking and completion Manage allocation of people and financial resources Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy Required Qualifications and skills: University degree in Business or related discipline. Overall 15+ years of experience in Technology experience with any of the following: SQL, SAS, Toad, PowerShell, VBA, DAX, etc., preferably in Banking or Financial industry and 10+ years of leadership experience including people management experience. Experience gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Strong ability to research, trend, and analyze data. Critical Thinking and Analytical skills Desired Qualifications: Proficient at considering a broad range of issues in making decisions and holds oneself accountable for delivering on commitments and renegotiating when needed. Proficiently builds constructive and effective relationships. Proficiently leads and challenges others to improve the organization. Demonstrated ability to management conflict and provide quick and well-thought through decisions Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationship with key partners and senior management Ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written, with various levels of management, including senior leaders and executives. Strong ability to retrieve data from various information systems Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability Ability to summarize and recommend new strategies/solutions.
