GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE: The IND SystemAnalyst II will be responsible for gathering requirements and preparing technical design documents on Regional/Global level. Volume of projects would be more in this role. Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs. Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. Liaise between business and technical personnel to ensure a mutual understanding of processes and applications. Works on complex implementations and regional projects. Also need to maintain strong relationship with local and regional clients & stakeholders. Mentors team members in SA I role. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (List 6-10 major responsibilities in the role): Planning & Scoping Connect brokers & consultant to explain the overall project, what help may be needed in the future, any plan documentation Provide technical expertise and domain knowledge Gather benefits policies & manuals from clients & other stakeholders Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making Construct workflow charts and diagrams studying system capabilities writing specifications Collaborate with Solutions Architects on country standard requirement templates Demonstrate the existing features & technical functionality by giving a product demo to the potential clients. Review typical market practices to offer standard solutions to the clients. Requirements & Design Determine operational objectives by studying business functions gathering information evaluating output requirements and formats Design systems & identify specifications Design functional features Recommend controls by identifying problems writing improved procedures Collaborated with stakeholder groups across the organization to ensure business and technology alignment. Proposed solutions meeting defined specifications and needs Set up follow up meetings with clients/other stakeholders to ensure output requirements are completed Provide a requirement walk through for all projects Work closely with Data Analysts to ensure data inputs are competed and placed in technical specifications Work with Business Process Management Leader and Project Manager to prioritize work to meet milestones and complete deliverables on time Identify and document potential technology solution deficiencies Internal Acceptance Testing & User Acceptance Testing Timely product review and join meetings with clients and internal stakeholders Flag if items are not getting resolved in a timely manner and there is risk of not closing IAT in time for UAT Ensure that requirements documents/manuscript are updated based on incidents raised in IAT. Review completed test plan to ensure all test scenarios have been executed and screenshots are accurate. Review overall defects to ensure all defects are resolved and closed. Ensure all documentations are in place & posted on shared drives. Act as a back-up and lead project calls in absence of Project Manager. Operations management Review requirements document and work with configuration to identify all processes that will need to be run Call out if there are any manual or non-standard processes that are required Work with configuration and operations to define an SOP for Operation processes. Review SOPs for accuracy and completeness Review Processing Calendar for accuracy and completeness Review Admin Handover Checklist from the Operations Team Train Client users on the backend of GI and how they can access Employee information and reports. Release Management Improve the overall quality and consistency of the GI Core Release process by ensuring better liaison with operations team on how we should be implementing new functionality. Help create new standard testing scripts based on new PBI and other release issues that have been identified during testing Innovation activities: Lead the innovation/process improvement activity at client or team level in order to have efficiency gain. Ensure to have the meetings and updates with managers on progress and connect on initiatives 1/month SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED (List 4-8 skills required to get the job done): Understanding of H&B, flexible Domain and implementation experience. Must have insurance & benefits exposure Should be sound with Team Work, Time Management, Analytical Skills Prior configuration experience will be added advantage Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail and commitment to provide ongoing quality.
