Financial Planning & Analysis
team supports & partners with APAC CFO Finance team to provide accurate and timely financial reports, and support to APAC CFO team during monthly forecast process and Annual Budgeting exercise.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:
Incumbents would be responsible for partnering with business to provide relevant and accurate financial analysis to support decisions, be responsible for financial planning & forecasting for area of responsibility, perform financial due-diligence on contractual spend and cover month end close activities for area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports, and analyze trends to support strategic decisions.
Month-End Close Support: Assist in closing activities including accruals, invoice processing, prepayments, reclassifications, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Variance Analysis: Identify and explain variances against forecast, budget, and prior year across key cost components such as travel and vendor expenses.
Financial Modeling: Develop financial models and perform in-depth analysis to support strategic initiatives and business case evaluations.
Forecasting & Planning Collaboration: Partner with the APAC CFO Finance team on forecasting, planning, and business analysis for the assigned business unit.
Budgeting & Cost Allocation: Support the annual budgeting process and calculate regional cost allocations based on defined principles.
Ad Hoc Reporting: Generate timely ad hoc reports and provide relevant financial insights to stakeholders as needed.
Process Improvement & Standardization: Maintain and enhance FP&A processes, championing standardization across the team and finance functions.
Tool & Automation Expertise: Develop proficiency in financial tools such as TM1, Citrix, Workday, and QlikView, and contribute to automation initiatives that improve reporting efficiency and data accuracy.
Cross-Functional Support: Provide flexible support to regional and global finance teams, including financial reviews of business initiatives and KPI distribution.
Skills & Competencies

Strong attention to detail and an inquisitive mindset.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and deliver accurate results in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced Excel skills; VBA knowledge is a plus.
Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Experience with TM1, PeopleSoft, and Cognos is advantageous.
Skilled in organizing and analyzing large volumes of data, including reconciliations.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
Strong ability to present clear and concise financial analysis to senior executives.
Effective communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders via email, phone, and in person.
