Income Tax Compliance Responsibilities:

Preparation and review of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, companies, and partnerships as per Indian Income Tax Law. Ensure compliance with tax provisions related to TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), and other direct taxes in India. Conduct regular reviews to ensure that tax filings and assessments are compliant with Indian Income Tax Act. Advise on effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liability within the framework of Indian tax laws. Ensure timely filing of income tax returns (ITR) and compliance with all deadlines. Manage tax audits and assessments, including liaison with the Income Tax Department. Represent the organization in front of the tax authorities for assessments, appeals, and disputes. General Responsibilities:Stay updated on changes in Indian tax laws, including amendments in the Finance Act, and other applicable tax regulations. Conduct tax planning and advisory for the organization to optimize tax efficiency while remaining compliant. Provide guidance on accounting treatments under Ind AS and ensure alignment with tax regulations. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure that statutory audit and tax matters are aligned with financial reporting requirements. Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Qualifications & Skills: Education: semi qualified who is not appearing for exams anymore. Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in statutory audits and income tax compliance in India. In-depth Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Companies Act 2013, Income Tax Act, GST Law, and Transfer Pricing Regulations. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or any other ERP system, along with Microsoft Excel and other tax tools. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax and audit matters in an understandable manner. Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with various departments, including finance, legal, and operations.
