Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

MIS Reporting & Data Analytics

o

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports.

o

Conduct variance analysis and financial performance reviews.

o

Develop dashboards and KPI reporting tools.

o

Analyze revenue, occupancy, departmental performance, and trends.

Hotel Accounting Support

o

Support monthly P&L reviews and revenue reconciliation.

o

Assist with financial statements and month-end closing.

o

Coordinate with departments (Rooms, F&B, Procurement) for accurate data input.

Software & Data Management

o

Perform entries and data updates in Proglogix & Web Prolific (mandatory).

o

Ensure accuracy and consistency across all financial systems.

o

Resolve system errors and coordinate with IT for enhancements.

Reasoning, Comparison & Insights

o

Conduct comparison of historical vs. current data.

o

Identify deviations, patterns, and anomalies.

o

Present analytical insights and recommendations to management.

Collaboration With Cross-Functional Teams

o

Work with finance, operations, and audit teams.

o

Support budgets, forecasts, and business strategy initiatives.

o

Partner with internal teams to understand their challenges and design data solutions that genuinely support their goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

o

Strong knowledge of hotel accounting principles.

o

Advanced MS Excel (Pivot tables, Lookups, Data Models).

o

Expertise in Proglogix & Web Prolific (mandatory).

o

High attention to detail with strong logical reasoning.

o

Ability to manage large datasets with accuracy.

o

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

o

Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Data Analytics.

o

Master's degree or professional data analytics certification preferred.

o

4-8 years of hotel industry experience.
