? Lead and supervise the nursing team in the geriatric unit during assigned shifts.
? Oversee assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans for elderly patients.
? Monitor patient health status, manage changes in condition, and escalate to physicians when needed.
? Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges within the unit.
? Ensure adherence to clinical policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
? Mentor, train, and support junior nursing staff in geriatric best practices.
? Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
? Serve as the point of contact for patient families, multidisciplinary teams, and departmental communication.
Qualifications
Required:
Registered Nurse (RN) with valid license/registration.
B.Sc.Nursing or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 5 - 8years nursing experience, including experience in geriatric care.

Preferred:* Experience supervising or leading nursing teams.
Certification in geriatric/gerontology nursing or related specialty.
Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
