Responsibilities:
1.This position is responsible for Logistics Functions.
2. Establishing Coal Evacuation route.
Shall be responsible for day to day logistics operations, following up with vendors and also to maintain statutory compliances.
3. Strategically plan and manage logistics, Coal Stock Yard and transportation.
4. Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle. Liaise and negotiate with Transporters, District and State Administration.
5. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
6. Plan routes and process Coal Requirement by End use plant by Rail / Road. Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
7. Supervise, coach and train weigh bridge workforce.
8. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
9. Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
10. Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements, Weigh Bridge Compliances.
Qualifications:
Essential Post Graduate / MBA / Experience in Logistics function/Coal Evacuation .
Desirable/Preferable Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager, Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, Proficient in SAP and standard logistics software (WB)
