Develop techniques for utilizing HD maps as part of a fused perception system Design and implement real-time vehicle localization using LIDAR, Radar, Camera and sensor fusion Extract HD Map data to provide horizon data streams for the autonomous software stack Design and implement real-time vehicle localization via map matching Test algorithm on real-road driving data Write professional design and technical documentation Build new concepts & groundbreaking solutions that shape the future of mobility Qualifications Master\'s or Bachelor\'s degreein the domain of Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Science or a related field Preferred Skills and Experience Requirement 4to 7 years of experience in one or more of the following areas related to mapping and localization for ADAS / AD: state estimation, probabilistic filtering, SLAM, LIDAR based localization, 3D reconstruction, experience with Visual Odometry(VO), Visual-inertial Odometry(VIO), Visual SLAM Strong C++ programming experience and in-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and software design skill Basic knowledge of programming for engineers such as Python or MATLAB Experience in using Git or other version control tools. Strong problem solving, analytical and good communication skills. Ability to present concepts/strategies/project status to large groups Advantageous : Experiences with cameras, radars, LiDAR, GPS/IMU and in-depth knowledge for related data processing Good knowledge on SLAM, scan matching, ICP and Bundle Adjustment. Experience with nonlinear solvers such as Ceres, g2o. Knowledge of mapping database formats Industry utilized data formats and communication protocols such as NDS, ADASIS and ProtoBuf Experience with cloud-native technologies (preferably Azure) Experience in develop, integrate and deploy scalable software on the cloud within an agile, cross-location and diverse team Knowledge of Linux and development on Linux systems 4+ years\' experience, with 2-3 Years\' experience in Automotive Software Development preferred.
