JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


To lead and ensure robust in-process quality controls across electronics manufacturing processes including SMT, wave/selective soldering, reflow, testing and PCBA build 1) In-Process Quality Control Monitor and ensure adherence to Control Plan, Work Instructions, Quality Standards. Conduct first-off / last-off verification and approve start-up for SMT & assembly lines. Ensure correct handling & controls for ESD, MSD, Components traceability. Drive defect prevention & process capability improvement across lines. 2) Electronics Manufacturing Quality Monitoring Monitor critical process parameters for: SMT printing, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow Oven, AOI, ICT/FCT Manual/Auto Soldering, Conformal Coating, Potting, Box Build Validate changes due to NPI/ECN and ensure readiness before mass production. Review OEE, FPY, PPM, DPMO KPIs and implement improvements. 3) Problem Solving & Improvement Lead structured problem solving using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, PDCA for in-line issues. Coordinate failure analysis of PCBA/Components (with Lab/FA team where available). Implement Poka-Yoke, Jidoka, DOE, mistake-proofing to prevent recurrence. Support VA/VE / cost reduction ideas without compromising quality. 4) Documentation & Systems Maintain/approve Control Plans, PFMEA, SOP/Work Instructions, Checklists. Manage quality alerts, containment actions, deviations and concessions. Ensure ERP/Traceability records for PCBA & critical parts are updated. Support IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 internal and external audits. 5) Team Leadership & Training Lead in-process quality inspectors/technicians for line quality execution. Conduct training on: ESD controls, Soldering quality - IPC-A-610, Component handling and MSD baking & Defect identification & classification

EXPERIENCE

10-15 years

TECHNICAL DETAILS


Strong expertise in

Zero-Based Costing / Should Cost methodologies

.
In-depth knowledge of

manufacturing processes

: casting, machining, stamping, and plastic moulding.
Strong capability in

PSAT cost analysis and negotiations

.
Proficient in

SAP

(MM or relevant procurement modules preferred).
Good understanding of

import handling and documentation

.
Ability to

read and interpret technical drawings

accurately.
