: Imports Executive - Purchasing Machine Tools

: 30k to 40k Per Month

Experience

: 2-5 years of experience in import purchasing, international procurement.

Qualification

: Bachelor's degree

Skills

: ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office Suite.

Identify and develop relationships with international suppliers and vendors. Evaluate quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, Incoterms, and delivery timelines. Issue purchase orders and contracts for overseas procurement. Track shipments and liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and clearing agents. Ensure all import documentation (LCs, invoices, packing lists, Coo, B/L, etc.) is in order. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Finance, Warehouse, Production) for timely inventory planning. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delays, quality, or compliance. Ensure compliance with customs regulations, DGFT policies, and other import-related legal norms. Analyze and report on procurement cost, lead times, and supplier performance. Stay updated on currency fluctuations, trade regulations, and geopolitical impacts on imports.
