Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation Management:

Prepare, process, and maintain all necessary export and import documents, such as Bills of Lading (BL) and customs declarations.

Ensure that documentation is accurate and compliant with international trade requirements.

Logistics Coordination:

Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to arrange transportation and clearance of goods.

Monitor and track shipments from origin to destination to ensure timely delivery.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that all import and export activities comply with international trade laws and customs regulations.

Stay updated on changes in customs procedures and government policies.

Stakeholder Communication:

Liaise with internal departments (like sales, purchase) and external stakeholders (suppliers, customers, government agencies) to resolve issues and facilitate smooth operations.

Negotiate contracts and terms with service providers and partners.

Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare reports on import/export activities and performance.

Maintain accurate records of all transactions and shipments.

Issue Resolution:

Address and resolve any problems related to customs clearance, shipment delays, or logistics.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Education:

A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field is typically required.

Experience:

At least 2-3 years of experience in import/export operations or logistics.

Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and supply chain management.

Familiarity with concepts like Verified Gross Mass (VGM) and different terms of trade (e.g., FOB, EXW).

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of SAP will be advantage.

Strong English communication skills are required for effective collaboration and performance.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
