Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Import/Export & Customs Clearance Manager with expertise in IGCR and BIS certification, particularly for electronic products like small appliances and components. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end customs clearance process and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Handle import/export customs clearance, ensuring compliance with IGCR and BIS certification requirements. Prepare and manage all import/export documentation (commercial documents, LC shipments, etc.). Ensure products meet BIS standards for safety and quality. Negotiate with freight forwarders and CHA to ensure timely delivery. Lead a team and coordinate with internal departments (Procurement, Logistics) for smooth operations.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in import customs clearance, with hands-on experience in handling SKD/CKD materials and related documentation. In-depth knowledge of IGCR, SIMS, PIMS, BIS, and WPC certifications. Proven experience in e-commerce or electronics industry. Leadership experience and strong communication skills. Preference for candidates with experience in customs clearing agencies (CHA). Local candidates from New Mumbai will be given priority.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹840,000.00 per year
