Job Overview:
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Import Purchase Coordinator to manage the procurement and import process of solar equipment and components. The ideal candidate will coordinate with suppliers, handle documentation, ensure timely shipments, and work closely with logistics and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate import purchases of solar materials and equipment
Communicate effectively with international suppliers and vendors
Prepare and manage import documentation and customs clearance
Track shipments and ensure timely delivery
Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics teams
Maintain accurate purchase records and assist in cost control
Resolve issues related to shipment delays or discrepancies
Support procurement team with vendor follow-ups and order management
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience in import purchase coordination
Fluency in English (spoken, written, and reading) is mandatory
Good understanding of import/export procedures and documentation
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
